How to participate

2. Register your participation in the Mexican Science Day 2026​

3. Submit your proposal

Develop a thematic workshop idea that promotes research collaboration between Mexico and Germany. Proposals must be no longer than 8 pages and submitted in English to:RobertWilliams.CarcamoMallen@zalf.de and Michelle.Bonatti@zalf.de

 

4. Present your idea at the Science Slam

The six best proposals will be invited to present their ideas at the Mexican Science Day. The jury will evaluate proposals based on collaboration potential, follow-up activities, interdisciplinarity, and originality.

 

5. Compete for funding in the Mexican Science Day November 5, 2026

The final winners will be selected by vote of the event participants. Up to three winning projects will receive €10,000 each to support the implementation of their workshop in Mexico.
